K-NIFE Corporation opened for business January 4, 1993. Originally established as a distributor of high-quality, high-production, custom woodworking tooling, K-NIFE has evolved over the past seventeen years into a full line woodworking equipment and tooling resource. K-NIFE is unique in that what we sell are "solutions". Our custom tooling solutions are special application items, with specific customer requirements kept in mind during design and manufacture. We meet often during the proposal stages, gathering information about the application so we can "guarantee" our solution. Quality tooling vendors such as H3D Herco, Wisconsin Knife Works, Riverside Tool, Freud, Misenheimer and allow us to offer the finest woodworking tooling in the world to our customers. In 1998 we entered into an agreement with SCM GROUP USA (formerly SCMi) to become their exclusive full line equipment dealer In Minnesota, Western Wisconsin and Central Iowa. Since that time we have devoted much of our time and effort in the promotion, sale, and service of SCM equipment. With our on-call "service technician", and full time "parts manager", and after the sale "customer satisfaction coordinator", K-NIFE is fully prepared to service what we sell. Each of our Sales Engineers has many years of experience and knowledge in their field. All K-NIFE employees have come to us with background in the woodworking industry. Our finance department stands ready to tailor lease payments, or make other financial arrangements, that are suitable for our customer's situation.
